I work five to six days a week and most of the time its night shifts. 11pm to 11am is very difficult, night becomes your day and day is your night. I working in a dementia ward and it can be very difficult. I have been slapped, punched, wiped with belts, scratched, bruised and bloodied. Yet I can't think of working anywhere else, I love looking after the old. It has its moments were you want to pull out your hair, scream and though things on the floor. Moments that make you laugh at how ridiculous things are,  wondering how someone who has forgot how to use a fork manage to make a homemade fishing rod out of wire and tooth floss and fish
